Based in Croydon and with clients globally, Natterbox enables organisations to deliver class-leading service levels to their customers through efficient and effective integration of voice into their digital customer communications. However, as a rapidly growing organisation, one of Natterbox’ biggest challenges was recruiting the right people, quickly enough to enable them to sustain their growth.

Talent Gateway first engaged engaged with Natterbox in 2018; from the outset we have worked closely with them to understand and meet their requirements. A visit to their offices enabled us to draw up a comprehensive list of reasons why candidates should join the company, as well as a far better understanding of their business structure and the services and solutions that they offer their own customers. Time spent with hiring managers meant we understood the varied requirements for each role, and also ‘what good looks like’ for each manager.

The result of our approach has been that we are usually able to concisely shortlist no more than three candidates for each position, making the task of interviewing and selecting a candidate both quicker and more efficient.

Maths No Problem believe that every child can master an understanding and love of maths with the right kind of teaching and support.

Their mission is to improve the standard of maths education by providing world-class textbooks, teaching resources and professional development based on the transformational teaching methods developed in Singapore.

Requirements

Maths no Problem were referred to us, in order to help them expand their team by filling a number of key roles to enable them to grow quickly over a short period of time. Their business has expanded rapidly and a number of key skills were needed to allow the team to reach its full potential and deliver against their growth plans.

Solution

We spent time working with the key individuals in the business to understand what a ‘Maths no Problem’ employee looks like. What are their attitudes, values and beliefs? We worked with the team to identify what “good” looks like and put a recruitment plan in place. Over a period of 10 months we filled a number of key managerial positions including Marketing, E-Commerce, Product Development, Training Category and Editorial Production. We continue to work with Maths No Problem as their business thrives.

Aqualisa is an iconic name in British shower manufacturing, known for innovation and technology. Established 40 years ago, Aqualisa has long been at the forefront of cutting edge shower design. The company revolutionised British bathrooms with the invention of the thermacoil shower valve in 1976 and pioneered digital showers in 2001.

Requirements

Our relationship started back in 2014 when Aqualisa had gone through a change in their senior leadership and had a requirement for a number of experienced individuals within key areas of the Brand and Marketing team. Over a number of months Talent Gateway worked with Joanne Savage – Director of Brand and Design to recruit both senior interim and permanent team members who have since helped take the business from strength to strength. These roles have included: E-Commerce Manager, Product Manager, Interim Head of Communications, Interim Marketing Manager, Marketing Executive and Office Support team members. We continue to work with Aqualisa as they continue to grow their market share.
